About this product
Are you dealing with mysterious yellow or brown patches in your lawn? There is a good chance that chafer grubs are the culprits! These hungry larvae of beetles, such as the May bug or garden chafer, nibble on the roots of your grass, causing your lawn to slowly deteriorate. Can you pull the grass up easily? Then you know something is wrong. But don't panic! My little helpers – the nematodes – are coming to the rescue and tackling these underground eaters in a completely natural way.
How do you know if you have chafer grubs?
Keep an eye out for the telltale signs in your lawn. Besides bare or yellowish-brown patches in the grass, you often see birds frequently rooting around, digging up the turf. If you inspect the soil, you might spot the white, C-shaped larvae with a brown head and six small legs.
Meet my underground helpers
That is why I want to introduce you to my tiny helpers: nematodes! These microscopic wonders are actually mini-roundworms. I know it doesn't sound very glamorous, but trust me on this one, they do an amazing job. They are so incredibly small that you cannot even see them, but what they do is pure magic. They actively hunt for the annoying chafer grubs and penetrate them. Once inside, they release bacteria, causing the grubs to die naturally. This provides sustainable and eco-friendly pest control without harming the surrounding ecosystem. No toxic chemicals, no mess – just nature doing its job!
Why I swear by this natural solution
-
100% natural: A biological approach in harmony with nature.
-
Safe for everyone: Perfectly safe for your plants, your pets, and yourself.
-
Self-regulating: The nematodes stop working on their own once the job is done.
What you need to know
My little helpers are very flexible, although they prefer a comfortable working temperature between 8 and 28°C. Ideally, you should put them to work right away – that's when they are at their strongest and most effective! Do you need to wait a little while? No problem at all, just pop them in the fridge.
A quick note on storage
Since my little helpers are living creatures, they need a bit of extra care. Keep them in the refrigerator at a temperature between 3 and 5°C. Just make sure not to put them in the vegetable drawer (as that's where I keep my chocolate!). Kept under these cool conditions, they will remain viable for up to 7 days, allowing you to use them whenever it suits you best.
